𝐅𝐫𝐨𝐦 𝐂𝐚𝐦𝐩𝐮𝐬 𝐭𝐨 𝐈𝐈𝐓 𝐁𝐨𝐦𝐛𝐚𝐲 | 𝐍𝐄𝐂 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟓 What began as a simple opportunity to represent our college gradually turned into one of the most enriching experiences of my student life. Our team represented 𝐄-𝐂𝐞𝐥𝐥 at the 𝐍𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐄𝐧𝐭𝐫𝐞𝐩𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐮𝐫𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐩 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐧𝐠𝐞 (𝐍𝐄𝐂) 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟓, competing with 𝟒,𝟎𝟎𝟎+ 𝐭𝐞𝐚𝐦𝐬 from across India. We secured 𝐑𝐚𝐧𝐤 𝟑𝟒 𝐚𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐥𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐥, a result that reflects 𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠, 𝐭𝐞𝐚𝐦𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐤, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐞𝐟𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐭. As 𝐓𝐞𝐚𝐦 𝐑𝐞𝐢𝐧𝐯𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐬, we worked as a 𝐜𝐫𝐨𝐬𝐬-𝐟𝐮𝐧𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐠𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐩 with members from 𝐝𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐠𝐧, 𝐰𝐞𝐛 𝐝𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐥𝐨𝐩𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭, 𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐜𝐡, 𝐏𝐑, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐛𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠. The journey taught us the importance of 𝐜𝐨𝐨𝐫𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧, 𝐚𝐝𝐚𝐩𝐭𝐚𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐲, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐜𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐫 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 under pressure. The competition closely mirrored 𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐥 𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐫𝐞𝐩𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐮𝐫𝐢𝐚𝐥 𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐧𝐠𝐞𝐬 — building a 𝐝𝐢𝐠𝐢𝐭𝐚𝐥 𝐩𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞, developing a 𝐛𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐭𝐲, solving 𝐜𝐚𝐬𝐞 𝐬𝐭𝐮𝐝𝐢𝐞𝐬 𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐫 𝐭𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭 𝐭𝐢𝐦𝐞𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐬, and making 𝐪𝐮𝐢𝐜𝐤, 𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐠𝐢𝐜 𝐝𝐞𝐜𝐢𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬. Reaching the 𝐍𝐄𝐂 𝐅𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐥𝐞 and 𝐄-𝐒𝐮𝐦𝐦𝐢𝐭 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟓 𝐚𝐭 𝐈𝐈𝐓 𝐁𝐨𝐦𝐛𝐚𝐲 was a proud moment for all of us. One of the most memorable parts was interacting with 𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐮𝐩 𝐟𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐬 at the expo, understanding their 𝐣𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐧𝐞𝐲𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐯𝐢𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧, and translating those insights into 𝐩𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧 𝐥𝐢𝐦𝐢𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐭𝐢𝐦𝐞. It truly tested our 𝐭𝐞𝐚𝐦𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐤 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐞𝐱𝐞𝐜𝐮𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐬𝐤𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐬. This journey would not have been possible without the 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐭 𝐠𝐮𝐢𝐝𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐩 𝐨𝐟 Dr. Kailash Chaudhary 𝐒𝐢𝐫, whose 𝐬𝐮𝐩𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭, 𝐜𝐥𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐲, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐚𝐠𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 played a crucial role throughout our NEC journey. 𝐆𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐟𝐮𝐥 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐝𝐢𝐫𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐚𝐭 𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐲 𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐩. Although our journey concluded at 𝐑𝐚𝐧𝐤 𝟑𝟒, the 𝐞𝐱𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞, 𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐞𝐱𝐩𝐨𝐬𝐮𝐫𝐞 matter far more than the ranking itself. We move forward with 𝐛𝐞𝐭𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐜𝐥𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐨𝐧𝐠𝐞𝐫 𝐦𝐨𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧.
