The campaigns people remember are not always the ones that say the most.
They're the ones that leave people with a question they can't stop thinking about.
This week, I came across something that made me stop scrolling.
One of India's biggest creators, Mendi, shared that McNROE Consumer Products Pvt Ltd Wild Stone had reached out for a collaboration, but refused to send him the perfume because it was "too rare."
At first, I thought it was just another marketing stunt.
But then the conversations kept growing.
Creators started weighing in.
Marketing pages began breaking it down.
People debated whether it was brilliant or unnecessary.
That's when I realized the product wasn't the story.
The decision was.
Most brands launch a fragrance by sending it to as many creators as possible, hoping for maximum reach.
Wild Stone did the opposite.
By saying "no" to someone everyone expected would get a "yes," they made the launch of McNROE Consumer Products Pvt Ltd Wild Stone Prive Parfum feel genuinely exclusive.
That single decision turned a product launch into a conversation.
Whether you agreed with the approach or not, it achieved what every marketer wants:
Attention earned through curiosity, not just advertising.
As marketers, we often focus on how many people see a campaign.
But sometimes, the most powerful marketing isn't about who gets access.
It's about who doesn't.

I had to look twice.
For a second, I thought Shah Rukh, Salman, and Aamir were coming together for a new movie.
Turns out, it was a billboard for a matchmaking app.
Simple idea. Big curiosity. That's exactly what good marketing does.
Well played, NikahForever. 👏
Would this billboard catch your attention?

A senior once gave me a piece of advice that I still remember.
He said, "Your code will always improve. Don't forget to improve yourself too."
At first, I didn't understand what he meant.
I thought learning a new language or framework was enough.
But with time, I realized that the biggest challenges at work were not always technical.
Sometimes you need to explain your solution to your team.
Sometimes you need to stay calm when a deadline is close.
Sometimes you need to learn something completely new because the project has changed.
That's when I understood that career growth is about much more than coding.
One habit that helps me stay focused is using the Matiks app for a few minutes each day. Playing brain games helps me refresh my mind before I start working on difficult tasks.
The more experience I gain, the more I believe that technical skills open the door, but your mindset, communication, and consistency help you build a successful career.
What is one lesson your career has taught you?

Most students think GATE preparation starts in the final year.
That's exactly why many start too late.
A few months ago, I asked a group of engineering students a simple question:
"When should you start preparing for GATE?"
Almost everyone answered:
"In the final year."
But if you look at the journey of top rankers, you'll notice a pattern.
They don't wait for the final year.
They start early, build strong fundamentals, practice consistently, and improve one step at a time.
If you're currently in the 3rd or 5th semester of Computer Science or Data Analytics, this is one of the best times to begin your preparation.
