🛠️ 𝗧𝗲𝗰𝗵𝗻𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗟𝗲𝗮𝗱 𝘅𝟮 - Hands-on technical leadership across the core product; set the bar, unblock the team, stay in the code.
🏗️ 𝗘𝗻𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗲𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗟𝗲𝗮𝗱 - Own architecture, performance, security and scale (backend/Python) as the escalation point for hard technical calls while still shipping.
🤝 𝗦𝗼𝗹𝘂𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝗘𝗻𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗲𝗲𝗿 - The technical authority in the enterprise sales cycle: discovery, custom demos, POCs and security reviews that win deals.
⚖️ 𝗔𝗜 𝗚𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗟𝗲𝗮𝗱 - Turn AI regulation (EU AI Act, ISO 42001, GDPR) into concrete technical controls - monitoring, audit trails, human-in-the-loop - and be the responsible-AI point of contact for enterprise clients.
💻 𝗜𝗧 𝗠𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗴𝗲𝗿 - Own internal IT end-to-end: infrastructure, cloud, incident response, vendor management and the security/ISO 27001 posture enterprise customers scrutinise.
🌐 𝗙𝗼𝗿𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗱 𝗗𝗲𝗽𝗹𝗼𝘆𝗲𝗱 𝗘𝗻𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗲𝗲𝗿𝘀 — French / German / Italian speakers — Embed with enterprise clients, build the integrations, and own getting them live and successful. Native-market language = huge advantage.
🧭 𝗗𝗲𝗽𝗹𝗼𝘆𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗦𝘁𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗴𝗶𝘀𝘁 - Lead customer rollout, adoption and value realisation, bridging product, engineering and the client.
Fluent English is essential across all roles; Spanish and other European languages are a strong plus.

What a first half. 🚀
We don't usually stop to look back mid-year, but the numbers made it impossible not to.
Since January, Wave has:
📈 Welcomed 110 new clients
📈 Doubled our Q2 and H1 revenue YoY
📈 Already generated 80% of all of 2025's revenue in six months
📈 Grown headcount from 34 to 57 (and we're still hiring)
And then there's Wave Mind, our Slack-native AI recruiter, which launched just last month:
🤖 11 clients already live
🤖 4 hires made through it already
🤖 70% of candidates it shortlists get picked for interview (and this is only V1)
Here's one that still makes us do a double-take: some of our consultants are personally out-earning London CEOs, with several on track for £400k in personal billings this year. That's the calibre of talent we get to work alongside every day.
None of this happens without an incredible team and clients who trust us to keep raising the bar. Huge thanks to everyone who's been part of this ride so far.

Some personal news: last Friday I was promoted to Principal at Wave Group .
If you’d told me a few years ago this is where I’d end up, I wouldn’t have believed you. Not because of the title (I already had it in the past), but because of how much I’ve changed since joining.
I came from the big enterprise world. Structured, predictable, comfortable. The move to a scale-up was a shock. There were weeks early on where I genuinely wondered if I’d made a mistake. Nobody hands you a playbook. You either adapt or you don’t.
I adapted because of the people around me. The recruiters on this team taught me everything. How to actually listen to candidates. How to have hard conversations with smaller clients. How to back myself.
One person in particular has changed things for me: Bobby A. Corbyn. When I started, I was set on a certain career path. A few conversations with Bobby later and I started seeing things differently. He helped me figure out what I actually want to do, not what I thought I was supposed to do. I owe him a lot.
