About

Managing Partner @ Atka & Partners

I create thoughtful, high-quality content at the intersection of AI, law, startups, venture capital, and innovation and consulting. As a lawyer, founder, and investor, I translate complex topics into engaging, practical insights for entrepreneurs, executives, investors, and technology professionals. I partner with brands that value credibility, education, and long-term trust over traditional influencer marketing. My content focuses on emerging technology, AI governance, entrepreneurship, productivity, professional growth, and the future of business. I enjoy collaborating on thought leadership campaigns, product launches, educational content, event partnerships, software demonstrations, and founder storytelling. If your company is looking to reach decision-makers, founders, investors, or technology professionals through authentic, expert-led content, I’d love to collaborate.

Your startup's 12-month roadmap is now a weekend. I just proved it to myself. I carried this startup idea in my head for the last year. Today I built it in one working session with Fable 5. Here is a legaltech/insurtech tool for lawyers use today organizes facts chronologically that models causation & intent. Every event, action, and mental state becomes a node, anchored to evidence. A "mens rea lane" maps how intent formed, always labeled as inference. But-for testing: remove any node and instantly see whether the causal chain to the outcome survives ✦ AI extracts candidate facts from witness statements, but nothing enters the record without human approval. One click generates a fully cited narrative from the graph. Working prototype. Live LLM extraction. Auto-layout. Multi-matter workspaces. Audit log. One session. @Müge Anlı ATV lets talk investment, waiting for you in my DMs. A little demo video below (If you watch The Crash on Netflix, you'll know the case)👇

Last night I was at the Royal Automobile Club listening to the CEO and the Chairman of Bentley Dr. Frank-Steffen Dr. Walliser. 57 million cars were registered globally in 2025. Bentley's share was 0.08%! If you've ever built a business model with a TAM/SAM/SOM slide, sit with that for a second. That's not a niche, that's a deliberate choice to stay rare. A few things he said that I haven't stopped thinking about: "It's about intelligence and software, not hardware." Even Bentley. One of the most iconic hardware brands in the world is telling you the future is software-led. If you needed more proof that AI is eating every industry, there it is. "Don't offer everything that's technically possible." Luxury isn't defined by the spec sheet. It's the brand. It's the extension of a personality. Knowing what to leave out is the harder skill and arguably the more valuable one. Then there's this: the average Bentley buyer in China is 35. In the UK, it's 75. Same brand. Completely different customer. That's not a footnote that's a strategic identity crisis and an enormous opportunity sitting in the same sentence. Who are you actually building for? Where is your next generation of customer coming from? And is your brand doing the work to reach them before someone else does? And then there's the EV pivot. A 106-year-old brand reshaping itself around electric. Because consumer demand made it non-negotiable. That's the reminder. Market conditions wait for no legacy. Oh, and Bentley started as a startup. Let that sink in. Thank you Voiceroom for the wonderful event. #Luxury #Strategy #BrandBuilding #AI #StartupMindset #Innovation #ElectricVehicles #Bentley

It takes 10 seconds to protect yourselves from liability. There is now a court ruling that says uploading your client's documents into LLM models breaches confidentiality and waives legal professional privilege. Not a warning. Not guidance. A ruling! In R (on the application of Munir and another) v Secretary of State for the Home Department [2026], the Upper Tribunal stated uploading confidential documents into an open-source AI tool, such as ChatGPT, is to place this information on the internet in the public domain, and thus to breach client confidentiality and waive legal privilege, and any such conduct might itself warrant referral to the SRA and should, in any event, be referred to the Information Commissioner's Office. Once privilege is waived, it cannot be recovered. So what do you actually do? This is where the screenshot matters. If you use Claude, go to Settings → Privacy. You will see a toggle called "Help improve Claude." Make sure it is off. When it is off, your conversations are not used to train Anthropic's models. More importantly! the Tribunal drew a clear distinction between open-source AI tools and closed-source AI tools which operate within a secure network meaning closed, enterprise-grade tools used properly carry a different risk profile entirely. The three things every solicitor should do right now: → Turn off data training in any AI tool you use (Claude, ChatGPT, whatever it is... check the settings) → Never paste client-identifiable information into a free, public AI tool without understanding where that data goes → If you supervise others, make sure your team knows this ruling exists because the Tribunal made clear supervision failures flow upward This is not a reason to stop using AI. It is a reason to use it properly. Which is exactly what we are covering at the free Claude for Lawyers webinar on 18 June including what settings to use, what to put in and what to never put in, and how to stay on the right side of the SRA Code while actually getting the benefit of these tools. The last 5 years, I have been using AI to do things most traditional lawyers did not want to even speak about: drafting, research, client communication, document review, and it has not, in fact, destroyed my career. Quite the opposite, actually. So on 18 June I'm doing a free one-hour webinar, Claude for Lawyers. For anyone who has been curious about AI but hasn't quite known where to start, or not sure if they are using it correctly. We will look at what actually works in legal practice, what the professional responsibility questions are, and how to use it without cutting corners or compromising your standards. It is free. It is one hour. It is 18 June. Link is in the comments. (And if your firm has been asking whether they should be doing something about AI, the answer is yes. That's a separate conversation. My DMs are open.) #LegalTech #LawyersOfLinkedIn #AIForLawyers #LegalInnovation

It was lovely to speak with Greenwich Mercantile on Legal AI Network Turkey podcast about how technology changes how customs operate. Check out their work, trust me, this is a startup to watch for.
