I genuinely appreciate the effort behind your new digital banking experience, Simple, a platform that promises banking to be simple, fast, and frictionless, with digital onboarding completed in minutes.
Unfortunately, my experience has been the exact opposite.
My first name is Noureddine, but your records show it as Noureddin, missing a single letter: "e".
To correct this one-character typo, I have:
Contacted customer service.
Visited my branch.
Signed all the required documents.
Completed identity verification.
Returned to the branch a second time to follow up.
It has now been more than a week, and the error is still not corrected.
As a software engineer, I find it difficult to understand how correcting a single character in a verified customer's name can take longer than a week.
Digital transformation is not only about launching a modern app or rebranding a digital product. It's about building operational processes that resolve simple customer requests efficiently.
If opening a bank account can be completed in minutes, as advertised, why should correcting a single letter in an existing customer's legal name take more than a week after all verification steps have been completed?
I hope this feedback reaches the right people. My intention is not to criticize for the sake of criticizing, but to encourage the same level of excellence in customer operations as in product marketing.
